Rat lessons: eating habits.

Here's a lesson you'll use if you EVER get rats.
Many rats, ( such as Phoenix. she never stops eating! )
will eat anything given to them. AS LONG as they have eaten it once B4. (that was text talk. or as they say in the text world, txt talk. :) )
When a rat is introduced to a new food,
it will take a nibble, then wait for roughly an hour to see what happens.
the rat is testing for allergic/intolerant reactions, to the food they have
just eaten. if they have spasms, queasyness, loss of balance,
or frequent bladder urges during the hour after they've eaten the tidbit,
they'll ( garunteed ) NEVER touch it again.
because the rat now knows that something even worse could
happen if they eat too much of that same food.
however, if the aformentioned symptoms do NOT occur
within a rough time period of one hour,
then as long as the rat likes the way it tastes, ( rats have taste for good cuisine too you know! )
they'll come back for more! and more, and more, and more, and more. (;
anyway, if you feed a rat too much, it will start stashing.
this means they will begin to hide food in the oddest of places.
heres a little story so you'll see what i mean:
one day i woke up,
and started rooting through my dresser for something to wear.
then, i noticed something.
there was a pile of grains,-and some raisins. ewww.-
in the corner of my dresser's top drawer.
( for those unfamiliar with the term, "raisins", it means rat poo. i know, it's pretty disgusting. )
i knew someone was stashing in there,
but i needed to find out who, and how.
thats right, how.
after all, the drawer with my clothes
in it was on the very top,
( although i do admit i had left the drawer open
for a number of days.)
and the only thing near, was an old antique
chair, which definitly wasn't tall enought
for a rat to get into the clothing drawer.
well, i was wrong.
that night, when the rats were out for playtime,
i heard a noise.
when i looked over to see what it was,
i was surprised.
Miesha, ( i really should have known it was her. )
was climbing up the antique chair.
intrigued, i got off my bed and sat
on the floor for a better veiw.
if you had seen what she was about to do,
then you would agree,
that it couldn't be better,
if i had gotten a free front row seat
and VIP backstage pass to an acrobatics show.
Miesha climbed up to the armrest,
and then, did quite an impressive leap in to
the open drawer. ( yes i left it open again. so what? )
she then left her flake there, and did the whole thing
in reverse to get back down again.
needless to say, i never left the drawer open again!
The End.
anyway, as you can see,
it's not exactly heaven to deal with a rats
eating habits.
but relax. as long as you
don't feed them to much,
i'm sure you'll live.

Rat lessons: rats will eat/chew anything!!!!!

although many are skeptical about this fact,
most rats will eat/chew anything!!!!! now see there?
i knew i could work the title into the dialogue!
anyway, here's an example:
I walked into my room to let the rats out.
as reading on my bed, i heard a chewing sound.
unsure of what the noise was, i crawled under the bed to see.
of course the culprit had run away at that point, but guess what i found instead?
no not a pile of raisins. that would be even worse. ( for people not familiar with the second use for the word, "raisins", it means rat feces. disgusting i know. ) anyway, i found a chewed
up lip balm tube with, (sit down now if you haven't already,) NO lip balm left!
yes that's right, THE RATS ATE IT ALL! and i mean ALL!
don't worry, the rats were fine, but here's the first lesson:
never leave anything lying around.

Rat lessons; info

OK, everyone here knows i have rats right?
( and if they don't, then no, this is not cooking extravaganza. )
anyway, i reckoned a cool way to run this here blog,
( that was a taste 'o southern accent fer ya'll. *snicker* )
would be to use, *tantantara!* SEGMENTS! so, introducing the
very first segment, "rat lessons." if you're thinking about getting a rat,
this segment give's you the pros/cons of rat ownership.
but trust me. with rats as wily as mine?
its mostly all cons.
that was humor by the way.
ttyl!

Do to her.

At the moment.

Pet peeve:

People who pick her up when she’s sleeping.
